Carefully Crafting Creations
I learned to sew at a young age, taught by my mom. My mom learned from her mom, and my grandma learned from her mom. Many years later, once I became a mom, I started sewing more, creating my daughter's entire nursery (crib bedding, curtains, etc.) and random clothing items. Two more daughter's later, I made it a tradition to sew their Easter dresses. That is one thing that I always make sure to do for them. I have kept every one of them, too, to pass on to their daughters. In between sewing pretty things for my daughters, I am teaching them to sew and to be generous with their talents by donating hand-crafted items to charities. I also have an online store so that I may create hand-crafted items for others. It's a part-time business as family comes first.
